Dr. Dhillon/Stamp

Dr. Parmjit Dhillon.

Dr. Dhillon is a very passionate and dedicated veterinarian. His love for animals began at a young age on the family’s farm, which eventually led him into this noble profession. In 1991, he received his Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry. In 1994, he completed his Master’s in Veterinary Immunology at Punjab Agricultural University in India. Following his immigration to Canada, Dr. Dhillon passed the national board exams and enrolled at Purdue University (USA) for a one-year clinical rotation where he developed a special interest in diagnostic medicine and particularly ultrasound and endoscopy. Following his return to Canada, Dr. Dhillon worked with the federal government for one year, as well as with various practices throughout Greater Vancouver. In April 1999, it was time to follow his dream of opening a hospital to practice his personal philosophy of health through science and compassion.  Dr. Dhillon’s other areas of interest are diseases of skin and ears, ophthalmology, and preventive medicine.  Dr. Dhillon loves to spend time golfing and snowboarding with his family and taking his friendly lab, Stamp for walks.

Dr. Kang

Dr. Jatinder Kang

Dr. Kang is a welcome addition to our practice. His softspoken manner and compassion for the animals shows in how he deals with everyone. He grew up in India and graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science in 1996.  He followed this up with a year at Iowa State University in 2000, and then moved up to Vancouver to practice. Where he joined us in September 2006.

 Dr. Christine Ong

Dr. Ong has been with us since 2001 where she started out as a volunteer and worked her way up to being a technician.  After graduating from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science, she then pursued her aspiration of becoming a veterinarian and made her way to Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand.  It was in New Zealand where she was given the opportunity to work at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts for two months, a clinic filled with veterinary specialists.  Following her graduation in 2008, we are happy to have Dr. Ong finally join us as a veterinarian.  Her veterinary interests include endocrinology and animal nutrition.  Her interests outside of the clinic  are dancing, snowboarding, cooking, watching movies and spending time with her calico kitty, Cassie whom she brought home all the way from New Zealand!
